    Attributes


  • The attributes field is used to provide additional information on the certificate. Example general attributes include:
    • (director's cut) - certificate applies to director's cut version of the title
    • (cut version) - certificate applies to a censored version
    • (re-release) - certificate applies to a rerelease version


  • A list of the attributes currently being used can be displayed by clicking on the gray list icon ( ) next to the attribute field.
  • There are also some country-specific attributes:
  • Germany
    • (w) - wertvoll (of worth)
      [FBW predicate]
    • (bw) - besonders wertvoll (of special worth)
      [FBW predicate]
    • (nf) - nicht feiertags (may not be shown on holidays)
      [FSK certificate]
    • (f) - feiertags (may be shown on holidays)
      [FSK certificate]
      Please do NOT add the (f) FSK certificate. It is considered to be the default.

    Note: The (nf) and (f) certificates do not apply to video releases.

    FBW: Filmbewertungsstelle Wiesbaden


  • Switzerland
    The cantons of Switzerland are as follows:
  • Aargau, Appenzell, Basel, Bern, Fribourg, Genève, Glarus, Grischun, Jura, Luzern, Neuchâtel, Sangt-Gallen, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, Solothurn, Thurgau, Ticino, Unterwalden, Uri, Valais, Vaud, Zug and Zürich.

    They should be submitted as attributes of the form (canton of Basel).

  • The certificates section records the ratings certificates given to titles within each country. Simply select the required country/certificate pair from the menu.
  • Explanations for the various entries are as follows:

    • Australia
      • G - General
      • PG - Parental Guidance for under 15
      • M - 15+ Recommended
      • MA - 15+ Restricted (Under 15 only with an adult)
      • R - Passed only for persons 18 and over
      • X - Sexually Explicit, 18s and over (Possibly only videos)


    • Belgium
      • KT - Suitable for all
      • KNT - Unsuitable for children


    • Brazil
      • Livre - Suitable for all
      • 12 - Passed only for persons 12 and over
      • 14 - Passed only for persons 14 and over
      • 16 - Passed only for persons 16 and over
      • 18 - Passed only for persons 18 and over

    • Canada: Quebec
      • G - Suitable for all
      • 13+ - Passed only for persons 13 and over (under 13 with adult)

      • E - Exempt from classification
      • U - Universal, suitable for all
      • PG - Parental Guidance, some scenes may be unsuitable for kids
      • 12A - Parental Advisory, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
      • 15 - Passed only for persons 15 and over
      • 18 - Passed only for persons 18 and over
      • R18 - Passed only for persons 18 and over, in specially licensed sex shops or cinemas


    • USA (MPAA)
