Filmography Credits

Animation department

  • The animation department list includes most non-effects animation tasks. Thus, animators, storyboard artists, character/prop designers, track readers, background artists, ink/painters, modelers, riggers, etc. In general, most of the jobs on an animated film not covered in another department would go here.
  • Effects animators on an animated film should continue to go in the visual effects department. Similarly, animation-related jobs that are part of an effects sequence should also go to visual effects.
  • Storyboard artists that are creating storyboards for use in a live action shoot should go under the art department.
  • A list of the occupations currently being used can be displayed by clicking on the gray list icon ( ) next to the occupation field.
