How do I edit my Resume and page?

Anything on your IMDb page from your Resume Filmography, Contact Information, Known For can all be updated with the “Edit Page” button located at the bottom of your IMDbPro page.

Select the page section you want to edit, fill in the information and select “Save” to make your update. Any changes to unverified information (i.e. Performer Profile, Guild Status, Theater credits, etc.) will appear on your page once you click “Save”.

Updates to verified data (i.e. Film credits, TV Show credits, Contact information) are submitted to our Data Editors for verification. For details on processing times, please see our Help page when will my update be added.

How do I add unverified Film and TV Show credits to my page?

All Film, TV Show, and Video Game credits are submitted to our Data Editors for verification. 

If you want to add your credit, but the title isn’t listed yet on IMDb, please see our Help Page for adding a new title. If your role on a Film or TV show was uncredited and the title is listed on IMDb, please see our Help page for adding uncredited credits.

Can I reorder my Resume?

Unverified Resume data (i.e. Theater credits, Training, Education) is displayed in the order added to your IMDbPro Resume. If you would like to reorder your entries, please delete all and re-add in the order you’d like displayed.

What does each section on the “Edit Page” form include?

  • Contact information & representation: Contact information for yourself or your representation: (i.e. Agent, Manager, Publicist, Legal, etc.)
  • Filmography: Official Credits (i.e. Film, TV, video & video game credits), Select your Known For credits, Additional Credits (i.e. Commercials, Theater, Voice over, etc.)
  • Images: Upload new images to your page or edit your Featured Images
  • Videos: Upload your Demo Reel
  • Performer profile & credentials: Add Guild information, Physical attributes skills, training, etc.
  • Vanity URL, Twitter & Blog: Select your Vanity URL, Add your Twitter or Blog
  • Biographical information, links, name updates & corrections: Submit updates to your bio, websites, update name or make other corrections to your page
  • Page Controls: Hide information on your IMDbPro page like Birthdate, Bio, and Also Known As. For further details on this feature, please see Control My Details

What does the orange asterisk on IMDbPro mean?

The orange asterisk next to information (i.e. Guild Status), means this was added by individual claiming the page and cannot be verified or edited by IMDb.

How do I update / remove contact information with the orange asterisk?

Contact information with the orange asterisk was previously added with the IMDbPro Resume and can only be removed with the IMDbPro membership where the page is claimed.

To update this, please go to Your Page and select the “Edit Page” button at the bottom of your page and select “Contact Information & Representation” and then delete to remove the contact information. To add your current contact information, please select “+ Add contact” to submit the update to our Data Editors.

Are there restrictions on what I can include?

Yes, the following are not allowed in resumes:

  • Profanity
  • Slander of individuals or companies
  • Advertising for products or services
  • Text that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or patents of a third party.

Determination of what constitutes any of these things is at the sole discretion of our Data Editors.

What credits are verified and unverified?

The following list will differentiate the credits that are unverified and verified. Unverified credits will only show on your IMDbPro page.

What happens if I cancel my membership?

If you cancel your membership, we will suppress your IMDbPro Exclusive data from your IMDbPro page. We will save your data, and if you ever decide to renew your membership your data will return to your page within 24 hours of renewal.
