IMDb Title Scorecard enables industry partners to easily review and update specific content on titles they represent on IMDb. Title Scorecard is the best way for trusted industry partners to get exclusive data onto IMDb - including the ability to upload video content. Starting October 2026, Title Scorecard users can bulk upload credit files, making it easier than ever to submit complete onscreen credits for a title to IMDb.

What is Title Scorecard?
Title Scorecard allows production companies, distributors, and PR companies to submit posters, gallery images, trailers, video clips and other related data to titles they represent on IMDb.
What is Bulk Upload?
Bulk Upload lets Title Scorecard users submit a complete credit file for a title listed on IMDb. Using Bulk Upload allows IMDb to extract, match, and process the entire onscreen credits in one go. Instead of adding credits one by one, upload a single file and we'll take care of the rest. It's the fastest, most accurate way to get your title's credits onto IMDb.
Bulk Upload accepts the following file types:
- DOCX
- CSV
- Excel
Title Scorecard users can access their Uploads page to check the status of each of their bulk uploads. The Uploads page can filtered to different views, displaying uploads under All Statuses or only In Progress uploads. Bulk uploads can also be viewed and managed by distinct upload statuses, including:
- Extracting
- Ready
- Failed
- Published

Eligibility for Title Scorecard access
IMDb's Title Scorecard is designed for Studios, Production and Distribution companies, and PR agencies - this means only representatives from those companies are eligible to apply for access for the service to apply for access to this service.
In order to apply for Title Scorecard access, a user will need (effective July 17, 2025):
- An active IMDbPro Premium or Basic membership in good standing
- User must have already claimed an IMDb name page with their IMDbPro Premium or Basic membership
- A company e-mail address corresponding to the company for which they are requesting Scorecard access
Example: John Doe applies for access to IMDb Studios and his email address is: johndoe@imdb.com
- The company e-mail must be registered to the IMDbPro Premium or Basic membership from which the user is applying
*Note: Access will be granted at IMDb's discretion. Title Scorecard access will be revoked if it has not been used in 365 days.
How do I apply for Title Scorecard?
To apply for IMDb Title Scorecard, fill out the Title Scorecard application form to let us know who you are, which company you represent, along with the company e-mail address attached to your IMDb user account.
Once we know who you are and the company you represent, we can add Title Scorecard to your account.
You will receive an e-mail confirming your new access rights with further instructions.
How do I access Title Scorecard?
If you have been granted access to Title Scorecard, you will need to log-in to IMDb with the e-mail address associated with your Scorecard account in order to open the link below:

How do I add a new poster for my title?

1. Find your title in Scorecard 2. Click the "Image (poster)" link 3. On the side panel that opens, select the image you want to upload 4. Check the "Set as primary image..." box - you can include copyright and actor metadata on this screen as well 5. Once you are ready, click the "Submit" button Images may be up to 25MB; minimum file size is 50KB. Note: Primary images will be automatically framed in Portrait Orientation. |

How do I add a new video to IMDb?
1. From the list of titles on your Scorecard, scroll to the title and click the "Video (trailer)" link
2. On the "Video Upload" page, click the "Browse" button to find a locally saved video file - select the file and click "Open"
3. In the "Video Title" box, name your video (Example. Top Gun [Trailer], or Forrest Gump [Featurette])
4. Provide a “Video Description”
5. Select the type of video from the “Video Type” drop-down
6. Select the maturity level - while most trailers are “Safe,” any video that includes excessive violence, nudity, drug use, or profanity should be marked as mature
7. Select “Primary Language” and update “Subtitle Language” (if applicable)
8. Select video privacy option - if you want your video to be visible on the site, leave the “No” box checked under “Make Video Private”
9. Click “Upload” to submit your video
Note: Videos will typically go live within an hour of uploading, depending on file size.
Note: if a video is marked "mature", it will be ineligible to display as the featured trailer and will be age-gated.
Recommended Video Settings
- File Size: Up to 10GB
- Length: From trailers and clips to full length feature films
- Quality: From standard to full HD 1080p
- File Format: Most major formats such as WMV, AVI and QuickTime. IMDb also accepts most major codecs but recommends H.264 for optimal results.
- IMDb does NOT support .mov files or ProRes file formats
- A video file must be uploaded. We cannot link externally to YouTube or Vimeo, etc.
How do I bulk upload credits to my title?
You will only be able to use Bulk Upload if you are a signed-in IMDb Title Scorecard user.
- Go to Bulk Uploads
- Click the Bulk Upload button
- Search for your title (you can use the title's unique identifier to ensure you've selected the correct title, e.g. tt31450459)
- Select your file type. Is the file you're uploading the complete onscreen credits, or only partial credits (e.g. a file with only the title's opening credits)
- Click the Choose file... button to upload a file from your computer
- Include a note to share with our staff. This can help us with the handling of certain credits, e.g. credits that are spoilers
- Click Upload
From here, you can check the status of your upload from the Bulk Uploads page.
Bulk uploads must be reviewed by the Title Scorecard user once extraction is complete. Once ready, each upload will have the option to review. The credits will be reviewed in the updated Title Credits Edit Page. For more information on this updated contribution experience, please refer to our guide.
Once the credits are reviewed, they can be submitted for publishing. A Published status will appear next to the upload, and the credits will be listed on the IMDb Title page.

To make finding your titles easier, we've added additional filtering options on the right-hand side of the title list view. Additionally, you can click a title's name or poster to go to the title page on IMDbPro. To visit the title page on IMDb.com, you can click the information icon ("i") next to the title, and click on the either the title name or poster in the modal that appears.
