Amazon Chime is provided as a complimentary IMDbPro membership benefit.
With your IMDbPro membership, all that's required is to follow the sign-up process below to get started!

To get started, visit the IMDbPro Chime page and follow the instructions below.

Step by step instructions

1. Go to the IMDbPro Chime page and click on Activate Amazon Chime to request your personal Amazon Chime invitation
2. Check your email and accept the invitation
3. Check your email for an invitation from IMDbPro
4. Navigate to the email and select the Accept! button
5. Follow the prompts and Download Amazon Chime
6. Choose the applicable version of the Amazon Chime app to download
7. Install the application
8. Once installed, you can login with your email address
9. You will then be prompted to Login with Amazon. Input the login credentials for the Amazon account linked to your IMDbPro. (The email address for your Amazon account will be the email address displayed and used on Amazon Chime)
10. Allow Amazon Chime to connect with your Amazon account. (required)
11. You'll be sent another email. Check your email to confirm your email address
12. Click on Verify Me to verify your new Amazon Chime account.
13. Once verified, you can login to Amazon Chime

Why am I being asked to login with Amazon?

Amazon Chime uses Login with Amazon as a fast, secure, and easy way for you log in to your Amazon Chime account. Login with Amazon allows you to use your Amazon credentials to log in to websites and apps that offer the service, such as Amazon Chime.

IMDbPro members will need to have a Amazon account linked to their IMDb account in order to activate the Amazon Chime benefit. If your IMDb and Amazon accounts aren't linked, there's instructions on how to do that here.

Do I need a credit card to activate Amazon Chime?

No. All current IMDbPro members with valid payment methods are eligible to access this membership benefit and begin using Amazon Chime. IMDbPro members must activate the membership benefit through the IMDbPro site in order to receive this free benefit. Active IMDbPro members receive Amazon Chime at absolutely no cost.

How do I resend my Amazon Chime Invite?

If you lost or never received your Amazon Chime invite, check your spam folder. If the email is not in the spam folder, go to the Amazon Chime Invite page to submit a new invite request.

How many people can participate in an online meeting or video conference?

With Amazon Chime, you can have up to 250 participants in a meeting. For video conferences, you can have up to 16 participants sharing high-quality wideband audio and high-definition video conferencing.

How do I download the app?

Visit the Amazon Chime app download page to download Amazon Chime. If you do not want to download the app, Amazon Chime also allows you to use the web app to access through your browser.
