Domestic

You can view the following domestic charts: daily, weekend, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, seasons, and holidays.

The domestic daily chart displays box office results by day. You may view the domestic daily chart for an entire year or for a smaller period (season, quarter, month, or holiday) by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific date takes you to the single-day chart listing all available releases for that date. You may also view a full week’s worth of daily results by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart.

The domestic weekends chart displays box office results by weekend. You may view the domestic weekends chart for an entire year or for the weekend number across all years by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific set of dates takes you to the single-weekend chart listing all available releases for that weekend. You may also view the estimates for that weekend and the performance by distributor by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart.

The domestic weekly chart displays box office results by week. You may view the domestic weekly chart for an entire year or for the week number across all years by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific set of dates takes you to the single-week chart listing all available releases for that week. The domestic monthly chart displays box office results by month. You may view the domestic monthly chart for a single month across all years (total or month-to-date) or all months within a single year by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. The domestic quarterly chart displays box office results by quarter. You may view the domestic quarterly chart for a single quarter across all years (total or quarter-to-date) or all quarters within a single year by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific quarter or year takes you to the single-quarter chart listing all available releases for that quarter.

The domestic yearly chart displays box office results by year. You may view domestic yearly totals by year, year-to-date comparisons, or top opening weekends by year by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific year takes you to the single-year chart listing all available releases for that year.

The domestic seasons chart displays box office results by season. You may view the domestic seasons chart for a single season across all years (total or season-to-date) or all seasons within a single year by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific season or year takes you to the single-season chart listing all available releases for that season.

The domestic holidays chart displays box office results by holiday. You may view the domestic holidays chart for a single holiday period across all years or all holiday periods within a single year by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific holiday or year takes you to the single-holiday chart listing all available releases for that holiday period.

International

The international page shows the latest weekend results in all areas for which Box Office Mojo by IMDbPro receives data.

Clicking on a specific area displays box office results by weekend for that area. You may view the international weekends chart for an entire year or for the weekend number across all years by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific weekend takes you to the single-weekend chart listing all available releases in the selected area for that weekend. You may also view performance by distributor by selecting from the dropdowns above the chart. Clicking on a specific year takes you to the single-year chart listing all available releases in the selected area for that year.

Worldwide

The worldwide page shows box office results by year for all areas for which Box Office Mojo by IMDbPro receives data.

The worldwide page defaults to the current year, but you may select from the dropdown above the chart to navigate to other years. Note that worldwide charts only display in-year releases (i.e. those with release dates during the selected year).

Calendar

The release calendar page shows upcoming releases. You may view the calendar for different months and years by selecting from the dropdowns above the calendar. You may also view changes to the release calendar and the number of releases by distributor by clicking the links above the calendar.

All time

All-time charts are leaderboards across many different categories for every release in Box Office Mojo by IMDbPro’s database.

Overall all-time charts include top lifetime grosses, top lifetime grosses by MPAA rating, and top lifetime grosses for movies that never hit the top 1, 5, or 10 during their release. You may view domestic all-time charts or worldwide all-time charts (where available) by selecting from the dropdown above the list of charts. Each chart may also have its own set of dropdowns allowing you to adjust or filter the chart.

Weekend records include a variety of different all-time charts for opening weekends, non-opening weekends, and other weekend types. Each chart may also have its own set of dropdowns allowing you to adjust or filter the chart.

Daily records include a variety of different all-time charts for daily box office performance. Each chart may also have its own set of dropdowns allowing you to adjust or filter the chart.

Miscellaneous records include all-time charts that don’t fit into weekend or daily categories, such as widest openings and releases, grosses by days in release, theater count drops, monthly records, and fastest/slowest movies to reach certain milestones. Each chart may also have its own set of dropdowns allowing you to adjust or filter the chart.

Showdowns

Showdowns are comparisons of two or more movies that are related by some theme (director, actor, plot, franchise, genre, etc.) Clicking into a specific showdown displays a side-by-side comparison chart of each movie in the showdown. You may view showdowns by day-of-week or by day number by selecting from the dropdowns above the showdown chart.

News

News provides an archive of all articles published on Box Office Mojo by IMDbPro, starting with the most recent.

Data and RSS Feeds

Box Office Mojo by IMDbPro offers a free utility for those who want to publish box office information on their website(s), allowing you to place just one line of Javascript into your page. Please note that the "Single Movie Box Office Total" feed is no longer available. However, we do provide a "Weekend Top 5" feed.
