Emoji Reactions on Video

You must be signed into your IMDb account to add a reaction to a video. If you attempt to add while signed out, you will be prompted to sign in or create an account.

Each customer can add a thumbs up or down and up to 5 emojis on video content.

We surface the top two most selected reactions from the community in the summary view for each video. Once you add your own emojis, your most recent two selections will show in the summary to you going forward.

Thumbs down can be used to express sentiment, but at this time summary count is kept private. Reactions added, do not currently influence or affect the video content users see in video recommendations across IMDb platforms.

Currently emoji reactions are only available on video content & features. We are looking for new areas and content types to roll this feature out to in the future. Stay tuned!
